Who is Björn?

I am a true math person. During my engineering studies I found a passion for helping people understand math. This led me to create a Youtube channel which grew to 10K followers. It also led me to pursue a second degree and actually become a teacher.
Outside work I like to stay active; being out in nature, playing Raketlon and recently I started signing in a choir!

What do you do at Magma?

I lead our Curriculum team, working on making sure teachers find the content they are looking for! This involves a lot of different parts; collaborating with our Publisher Partners, structuring alignment to curriculums and exploring how new tech and AI can help us scale Magma to all students in the world.

What's the most rewarding part of your work?

As a teacher, it is of course spending time in classrooms and seeing when students have this magic moment of figuring out something they have struggled with. As an engineer, it is seeing when the tools we provide create system level changes in how school districts conduct their teaching.
